if they make them end up together, couldn’t they at least give the kidnapper a real crawling arc it’s annoying how those authors just brush off with a “I love you”. Make them crawl, beg, cry and hate themselves. Make it difficult for them. If they want toxic relationships, at least give us some taste of justice

So basically:
They get into the relationship but ML keeps thinking the MC will leave which gets explained by his childhood trauma. Something happens so the MC has to move into the MLs house w his family, but when he wants to move out again because he feels bad about relying so much on the ML, the ML goes yandere mode. He kidnaps him and goes into the forest in an old house and it ends up with the MC jumping in front of a car to save the ML.

So… I bought the light novel and found out that, yes, although they do love each other it’s messed up. ML is on some yandere shit and kidnaps the MC. He also r4pes him and more fucked up stuff happens.
There are no big consequences and the MC forgives him quite fast.
