It was more of a fantasy action hiyah!! aaahh!! im dying!! historical manhwa than an ooh im a villainess im gonna become super nice and buy lots of dresses and ngl its new to me but i enjoyed it first of all it was really way too rushed.. art is good, but with that plot id imagine 120+ chapters. for some people its a turn off but i only binged it today so i guess its fine for me.
characters are shallow. seriously. there’s no more to them but belle’s friends that want her to live. it’s like they’re only there to be a friend. i wanna know what happened to the temple, what the nobles think, and how life is in the novel basically… but.. its all so belle centered nobody notices a thing! like the saint is not sainting i know its supposed to turn the novel over but i wanna see the og novel too with the saint and all, but i guess… yk… thats good enough too
i do love ray and belle but i hate the cycle of “im sorry i wasnt good enough” “sorry i was late” its all so cliche and id rather see ray suffer for belle to do something. their romance is eeehh hmmm umm because like i said everything is shallow
what i liked the most is belle’s backstory and how everything actually made sense despite the fast pace and the shallowness of other characters. only eun-oh interests me
overall, if you’re into quick paced op mcs with lots of friends who love them with a side of romance this is for you. i enjoyed anyway hehe
