Guys you don’t understand
sihyun thinks the mc will abandon him just like he abandoned his “boyfriend” after he finds someone prettier, classier, ect. Just like what he saw happen to his mom
And tbh i understand where he's coming from, if i was an affair partner to someone who’s actively cheating And they suddenly came out and told me that they like me and had left/divorced their current partner i would also question their authenticity. Whats gonna stop them from leaving me or cheating on me when they find someone “better”? Cheaters are liars and have no problem with such betrayals and we have to remember that this is what sihyun thinks of the mc; a greedy lying cheater
And i think sihyun believes that the only reason mc likes him is bcuz he offers excitement and is only with him bcuz hes addicted to taboo sex and the thrill of it all, so if he admits that he enjoys the mc’s company just cuz he does, the mask/label would wear off and hes gonna become “bland” in the mc’s eyes
And tbh the mc is hella naive (which i understand since this whole romance shit is new to him), hes just so glad that sihyun likes him -or “accepted” his confession- he forgot to explain everything and let sihyun stew in more misunderstandings
In conclusion, This is gonna blow in both their faces so hard and im so excited to witness it all
