I don’t know what they are saying they just through in some rando part where he doesn’t believe her and then the sister lied on him. He never admits he conspired with her sister for shit. He just looks at her every time she screams at him. He seemed more upset he couldn’t save her than anything. His villain arc is really but they do a shit job of explaining what happen in the last life. Like he didn’t marry her sister..so what he get? Nothing.
