I don't think the ending is as abrupt anymore. Maybe it was because when I was reading update by update I was expecting more but now after rereading it is actual a solid ending. Ngl, I would love more but honestly the ending makes full sense and wraps up everything that was ongoing in the novel. Except maybe MC's family since the uncle at least would probably have something to complain about their relationship. I think I remember someone saying there is a novel that happens after this one? Hopefully that's true, I'll have to try to find it after I finish December's novel
