it is not yuri bait when one side is openly in love. queerbaiting is when audience is baited with potential of queernes in a story and maria is a proper lesbian/bisexual rep in this story. Story also doesnt promise an ending with any of potential love interest so an expectation is on your part.

People really love to be fooled and eating this trashy yuri bait. This authors like the other ones just use us to get more popular and for money. Notice how they just keep on putting more and more male love interest. How the female part of the harem needed more screen time while the male part is partying. Also how no mlm one. I really notice that one characteristic in these yuri baiters. I dont like bl because I'm lesbian and only attracted to women but if your apparently "yuri" is not like AOT where they are really girlfriends (yumihisu mention) then i dont trust those people who also dont put bl bait.
For example of trusted one is, kakegurui. Despite not really that explicit yuri in the manga where they say how lesbian they are and seems just yuribaity, i could tell it's probably a true yuri. Author of that weirdo gambling manga love retweeting yuri that i could trust kirari x sayaka to be canon and i remember that weirdo retweeted a bl art and i think those two male cousin will end up too so yeah i trusted him.
I just watch the tiktok about fl of the game x those male version of katarina and we know who she will end up with a man in the future. The implied so much and too obvious that the other part of women who love mc will end up in the same fate.
