that's not an insecurity, but she does have a personality of npd from she was a child (imo). like she will be loved by the duke of phaeraton, and everyone will loves her, the brothers pf phaeraton will take her side instead of luatisha, and etc.
so her personality (npd) when she grew up (12 y.o) still intact and remains, and also grower like that.
All the more then. She is sick. It would be nicer if she fought with the empresses or any adults instead
She seems clever enough. Maybe she does need more guidance, but it doesn't mean she couldn't think for herself, given how calculative she was with her relationships and plans. She already knew that her father did wrong and that they abused the little girl. But she's just too full of herself to care for others, not even her own father. She deserved that.
