i mean the afterlife thing is a good theory, but I definitely think they just met each other when they were old. They were just portrayed as young for a second because meeting each other reminded them of when they were young and how their feelings had remained just as intense since they last saw each other. And me personally, i wouldnt want to draw them old, showing their young faces makes the readers happy too, showing that it seems no time has passed. would rather the ending be that they died because them living their whole lives not being with each other until the end just pmo, like yall only have 5 days left.
