Exactly. I think a lot of people are disappointed because Jina comes across as more “girly,” and many readers tend to expect the more feminine character to be submissive—if you know what I mean.
But I absolutely love Jina as dominant. It suits her perfectly. I honestly don’t think Jinah would work as a dom at all; she feels much more like a “helper” type instead, someone who supports rather than leads.

Also there's some ppl arguing about top/bottom/switch whatever, honestly it doesn't rlly make sense to apply those terms to wlw couples because women have different anatomy. You can't feel sexual pleasure from using your fingers like you would from using your dick. Since these top/bottom labels are originally made for the mlm community, they're much less "definite" for queer women. If you want to use them, you kind of have to define it in your own terms if you're wlw. So I feel like the best way to incorporate a bl-esque "top-bottom" dynamic in gl would be kind of a dom/sub situation, which I feel works nicely here with Jina being more dominant. Anyways, with that being said, give her a strap!!!
