I feel like the story is trying too hard to portray the protagonist as a victim, when she AGREED TO BE THE MISTRESS HERE. She agreed to sell herself like a prostitute. And she still plays the guilty one. The wife is a horrible person to the husband, but the protagonist doesn't know it and willingly has sex with the other woman's husband several times. And I won't even start with the husband, who is a useless fool. The only person who seems to have a little, and I mean A LITTLE, character here is the wife's brother, and even he's not much of a character.
