Totally agree with you but even if there was no rape there still was emotional pain but if jk thinks it is then he should consider it and Dan can handle the rest he is mature enough I truly trust the author and hope they make some REAL character development soon but the haitus
Also he treated dan in a shitty way so I do think that jk does have to apologize but has to realize what for properly
My 2 cents (no offense to anyone):
Consensual is when even in the middle of the act, if one partner feels like they need the other to stop, they can voice this without fear.
It may not even be the fear that the other partner may physically abuse them, but even bite-sized episodes of emotional abuse like gaslighting them into thinking that asking to stop is their fault.
None of the people in a consensual relationship/ contract should be entitled to the act.
And honestly, in general how is it right for one person to treat a (paid) partner/s*x worker like they own them just coz they paid up?
Alas it's a fictional made up scenario but a lot of people face this at the hands of their partner irl and stay in these situations because of financial issues.

Absolutely zero rape. And I’ve been here since the beginning. You don’t have to like a character but don’t gaslight people to frame a fictional narrative. JJ and KD are consensual adults. KD wasn’t forced to accept the deal and lied about his “experience” so he could “work” with JJ.
