Am i reading the same Dan. He was really ‘not easy’ to Joo. There were many chapters that he stood up for himself and didn’t give in easily. And i love how he made it clear “liked/loved” in past tense. I think both of them are having a character development. Dan is drawing the line very clear while now Joo is the one trying to cross it

I think I hate Kim Dan. I didn't think I liked Joo. But Joo has changed, questioned himself, and is trying to become a better person for Dan. But Dan... he annoys me. He's really lame! He hasn't changed! He's still pathetic and miserable, and he doesn't respect himself. Pff, no... All you have to do is be nice to him and that's it... I'm tired of the way the story is going. I want Dan to respect himself. He needs to change. On top of that, he tells Joo that he loves him... No... that's lame.
