The real mess is yet to come....

This webtoon really hasn't aged well.... Tehir raping Kimoto once again was already an awful thing, but Kimoto raping Garon in his bug form is utterly horrifying, disgusting, and deeply disturbing.......!
I'm glad I dropped this series ages ago, because when I happened to stumble upon the chapters recently and wondered what had become of the story, I actually regretted being curious and checking it out. The amount of horrific events and the frequent depiction of off-putting situations that seem to be overlooked or normalized is deeply troubling. This isn’t about restricting personal choices or dismissing gruesome themes that may serve the story, but rather about acknowledging that portraying difficult or harmful scenarios carries a responsibility, and it’s essential to consider the potential influence such content can have and to handle it thoughtfully, rather than merely presenting it as an unavoidable part of the narrative—something that, unfortunately, has been all too common here.

I wonder if the author is in the right mental state (given some of the things I've heard about their situation), but I sometimes question whether the choices made in the story truly serve the narrative, especially when it ventures into such intense and unsettling territory. One thing is certain: they have squandered the potential this story could have had.

As for the ending, it seems pretty clear to Korean fans that Hyehan might fuse Tehir with Chaerin to bring him back, and Kimoto might return to being one with Jin, so that way, Tehir/Kimoto and Jin/Chaerin could end up together. And if that's true, what a terrible ending that would be—so much for that.

Was just dropping by to share this, cause even though I didn’t especially like Garon before, and I stopped following the webtoon, I still was so shocked and grossed out by what happened to him (will happen to him in the next chapters) that I just had to get it off my chest. It’s honestly so painful and horrible, it kind of feels like the author has lost track of the plot and is just relying on shock value at this point.

I really love (or loved?) this story but you know what? You've got a point.

Also I'd like to ask what kinda situation is creator-nim in? mental health issues? financial problems?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to discuss it, since it’s somewhat TW content. But I was wondering specifically if they’re dealing with mental health issues since their behavior seemed to suggest it, which is why I mentioned it in my previous comment.
I also know they moved last year, so I’m unsure if they’re facing other kinds of challenges as well.

Thank you for this take, I really wanted to show support but not for where it's heading. It started off so interesting and the art is great.

That scene was definately disturbing - no comments on that. I also wanna know what's this author was thinking to make such a scene in such an explicit way~ But well, after Kimoto and Garon have a conversation among them, I kinda start to see the points too. This story is like f*cked up and disturbing from the start with a very unique set-up but also very psychologically deep. Right now, Kimoto has totally lost his human emotions and become the bug he was bfr, and so He did what a bug would do, and he thought Garon was the perfect vessel for that. Bcoz he has the strongest genes and also bcoz Garon himself is like a wild animal...Kimoto felt most familiar with Garon in his bug form. In their past, whenever Kimoto was all alone, Garon would always try to r#pe Kimoto like a wild beast in heat...Kimoto had made a gun to protect himself back then. It's a very ironic scene bcoz Garon was the one who always wanted to breed others, but now he is the one who is being breed by someone else now. And Garon is actually thinking that he is being punished just like always which he deserved(that's what Garon thinks) so he isn't minding anything whatever Kimoto is doing to him. And We are gonna see the whole conversation scene between Garon and Kimoto...Garon is gonna kept poking on Kimoto's hidden feelings for Tehir until he recognize his feelings again and we r gonna see more backstory among Jin-Kimoto-Tehir which was playing in Kimoto's mind...Kimoto's love for Tehir isn't completedly innocent either...We are gonna see Kimoto's twisted feelings for Tehir too...So, the author hasn't lost the track even tho it may seem like...
