i wouldn’t say this is boring, per se, but it’s rather bland. everything about this story was one dimensional, lacked depth and character. almost everywhere, there was some ‘villain’ popping up - yohan’s ex classmate, that weirdo stalker with the glasses that hates mc, the insecure drummer, the guitarist who is chasing clout rather than a dream - but all of those conflicts ended so easily, with no substance. even mc running away at the end was so dead - he ran away, yohan cried and said he loves him and mc agreed to come back, like?? again, no depth. the characters all lack a personality. it feels like this was written by a robot man. not to mention, we didn’t even know half of the things going on - they performed so many times but where? why? what was it about? they suddenly have an agency? since when? what did the album consist of? what about yohan not being able to graduate bc he doesn’t care about class? what about yohan’s parents? what about the mc’s own broken home? what about the award? there’s more questions than answers, if i’m being honest, and not to mention the rushed ending. this was just very poorly done
