there should've been a chasing arc and the friend should've been cut out from their lives as he hasn't even apologized for shit and continues to be an asshole to the seme. this was fun at the start and i continued to sympathize with the uke the whole time but halfway through he started to not make sense. here i thought i found a refreshing story but no, it just flopped.
i was extremely disappointed by that poor attempt of a climax and resolution. friend should've died in that car crash smh he continues to be miserable without any character development despite being in a near death situation, in fact, IT ONLY MADE IT WORSE UGH. thought he'd finally grow up but guess what.

THANK YOU GUYS FOR AGREEING CAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS GOING CRAZY FR the story had SO MUCH potential cause they were really cute at the beginning but the way the author went about the “miscommunication” trope was so bad, and i couldnt even finish the last 5 chapters knowing the uke was still laughing and giggling with the man who tried to GUILTRIP him so many times, literally made me crash out. and also yeah the top is such a pushover cause i really thought at the end he would leave and start having some self respect but then he went back to him so quick and easy like everything was so frustrating
im starting this off by saying that i will acknowledge it was wrong of the top to have sex with the uke if he thought he was already in a relationship.
that being said, i really liked the story at the beginning but the misunderstanding made it so much less enjoyable. imo the fact that the uke did NOT communicate nor ask for for further explanation only showed that he wanted to feel sorry for himself and justify the fact that he didnt have the balss to fkcing confess, he js kept assuming stuff so he could be right in feeling miserable. not only that but also pretending hes dating his friend is so manipulative both for the top and his friend, and the facg that he NEVER apologized for that pmo. their first time wasnt even satisfying knowing the circumstances.
my 2nd point is their near break-up in c38 (i think), and i will blame both the uke AND his friend for that. yes his friend is going through something difficult and depression is never easy, but its not the uke’s job to take care of all of that, ESPCIALLY if you neglect your own partner for that. not to mention the friend faking an attempt just so he could confess, he was being so manipulative it also pmo dont even get me started. the uke didnt even properly apologize for that and he didnt even reach out to the top and only gave him a fuckass coupon like ik it has a meaning but constantly ditching your bf, then ditching him when you two were supposed to go on a vacation you two have been talking about for MONTHS????
and im sure he realized at sole point, the top even mentioned it, that the friend was activally manipulating and trying to sabotage their relationship they stayed friends anyways and even joked about this? no fucking way
