It wouldnt even be that bad if they stopped letting 3rd party sources fuck with the plot. Due to the inevitable nature of humans, its likely theyd be hating anyway. This could've legit ended with MC realizing no matter where you choose to escape, people suck. Is it depressing? Yeah. But this shit does not need to be all sunshine and rainbows for the initial plot to hold weight. Or if yall hate tragedys that much, just end it after stareater or whatever his name is dies. MC returns to her desired world. Bam, cute side story.
Im on 118 catching up and god does the new plot urk me in a way few do. Its genuinely infuriating how the concept layed out legit 5 chapters ago just means nothing now. Am i stupid or was the theme not "you make your reality by how you perceive it"? (Or i think therefore i am) This could have been a really cool concept without the random bullshit theyre suddenly spewing
