I made mine in 2014 and I am manually adding my list based on my notifications. I wish they put it back. I have a lot of want to read and already read that I haven't read yet and some that I want to re-read that I forgot the titles.
I would suggest to just leave it like that and wait, seeing that yours is an older account by tomorrow you will probably have some works restored! It's loading veryy slowly for me, around 2-3 manga every 5 minutes

I’ve been informed that it’s going to take at least a day for the oldest (2014-2016) accs and a bit more than a day for the newer ones so if you can wait and it’s all gonna be back

I made my account in 2016 and a couple of my already read works that i added in 2017 are slowly coming back one by one!! It will definitely take time as I had more than 10k in my already read but dont worry guys it seems everything will reappear! Also i know people were wondering but it seems it doesn't matter if you add new works that you're reading now, they will just add the new one to your old ones
