I knew, and I call it now, the brother is like ML! He’s immortal and knew mc in a past life.
My reasons the brother has golden eyes are the same as ML
The shadow in chapter 23 is a snake wrapping around MC.
In the photograph (might be a stretch), the brother, with the father, step-brother, and MC there, has his hand on his shoulder. Sort of like a pet / a hint that the brother is in charge.
The brother was already aware of MC and had been searching for him. At the orphanage.
There are no pictures of the brother when he was a child, only post-MC.
I reckon he used the father to get MC and keep MC, tortured him, etc., in order to mc to rely on him.
