Just a theory: I think it’s because of their ability to improve their swordsmanship through consuming swords. I mean without knowing the context of how utterly bonkers the process of actually acquiring the skills it would sound so OP that quite a few jealous pieces of shit would want to get rid of them all together.
Why hasn't the master explained why his descendants were hunted down? Why hasn't he tried to explain the history behind that choice? Why hasn't our little man asked for any of these details like old rivalries or ancient enemies? What is happening?
