the combo of terry and candy breaking up and Alistair dying nearly made me throw up, that was so painful. I know people are unhappy with the ending but i thought that what made terry and candy so special was that they were doomed. Always leaving, always missing eachother by a moment but deeply in love. I kept forgetting they are supposed to be late teens in this manga. How could they go through so much.
I will never get over any of them, i will never love any piece of media as much as i love Candy Candy. I watched the french dubbed anime when i was 8 and i had never felt such strong emotions watching something before. Reading this 15 years later was the same, i can't rememeber crying this hard for any other fictional characters. I'll be back to read it again very soon, now that I've found it again i will never let it go.
