MC starts feeling weird and noticing all these changes to his body. He thinks it’s some sort of disease but is too busy with work to go to the hospital to check it out.
Eventually, he gets his first heat, and coincidentally, ML is there. ML reallly likes MC and thinks it’s all a dream and they do the deed. MC’s like, no don’t but eventually gives in because he wonders what it’d feel like and y’know how the heat stuff goes. Anyway, MC’s like, it’s my first time so you need to make sure you prepare me! ML’s really sweet in this imo, and then the next day happens… DUN DUN DUN, MC gets ML’s secretary to vouch for him and say he was in the other room and some rando omega slept with ML. ML freaks out, vomits out of disgust that he was unfaithful and cries that he slept with a random omega that was not MC and ML was also drugged.
ML tries to find out who the mystery omega was but CCTV was cut off for some reason, so he goes to MC and tells him they need to break up because he slept with an omega that wasn’t him. MC’s like, I’m okay with that, let’s continue in limbo. ML is like, “No, I cheated on you, we can’t continue. :( “ MC escalates to, FINE BUT THAT MEANS WE NEVER SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN, we are nothing, something like that. My memory’s fuzzy.
ML leaves, and MC starts to pack ML’s things to give back to him, but in the middle, he starts sniffing ML’s clothes…
And then, later MC almost gets into a car accident, then goes to the ER and finds out he’s an Omega because he spent a lot of time around a dominant alpha, ML, who turned him into an omega, and he finds out he’s pregnant.
So then, MC decides to run away with the baby cuz screw ML, they broke up, so he don’t need to know.
Also, side thing, ML’s grandpa is a freaky stalker who likes to have his henchmen go through MC’s trash to see if ML and MC do the funky dance together since he’s against alpha-beta relationship, but haven’t caught them in the seven years they’ve been together.
So, MC moves to Ilsan where his mom had a house before she passed to do his runaway stuff and raise a baby in secret while avoiding freaky grandpa and ML finding out. (Also, MC reminisce about their relationship becuz he misses ML cooking and can’t do it the same. Also, author reveal to reader that ML makes time every single day from his busy chaebol schedule to come to MC’s apt to cook, clean, spend time with MC and sleep with MC in their seven years together.)
ML has insomnia without MC and reveal to reader he has been celibate the whole relationship, learning how to use his left hand for massaging. :)
Also, we find out reason why ML don’t like betas, it’s because his dad tied him to a chair and forced him to watch dad exercise with a beta when he was a kid and ML cried to not watch and fell over in vomit.
Yeah, trauma.
ANYWAYY, ML finds out where MC moves to and moves next door and goes to say hi to his neighbor because he wanted to see MC. :)

Anyway, while MC out one day, he sees grandpa henchmen digging thru his trash and freaks out becuz he’s like they broke up why he digging thru my trash. >:(
OMG, what if they find out about the babyyyyy, QUEUE MC running away again, and he calls up friend from military and starts living under fake name.
ML’s like freak out, looks for MC nonstop and lives in two places, his OG residence and the new place in Ilsan and didn’t sleep in several days and all he does after work is clean the bathroom nonstop. (Bro’s a clean freak)
Stuff happens, MC gets assaulted(?) by a bunch of people he used to be in military with who broke his ankle for having a relationship with an alpha when he’s a beta. Also, his higher up also wanted to sleep with him and he refused so the higher up roped in other ppl MC’s rank becuz if MC gone then the promotion will go to them. So, they bully MC till he discharge, and ML don’t know becuz it was covered up by MC and his friend.
Anyway, military dudes be like, “lmao, now ur an omega? And ur preggo? Is it ur alpha bf?” And bully and shit and QUEUE ML to the rescue. Bro comes in and beats all these men up and overheard the reason why MC’s ankle is the way it is, and starts fucking up the military dude’s ankle and presses on it while talking to MC and listening to how MC’s pregnant but it’s not his child (but it is, MC’s just saying it isn’t).
ML’s like, “You pregnant, so you must need pheromones, I will provide you with mine so you don’t have to rely on drugs that only work 70% of the time.”
MC’s like, ok, for the safety of the child.
UHHHHHHHH, I forget some things, but they do horizontal stuff on bed, and ML’s mad at some parts becuz MC’s like, we don’t need condom cuz I’m pregnant. ML’s like have you not heard of protection?!!! WHAT DID THAT BASTARD TEACH U!
Stuff happens, they go to ultrasound, ML gets mistaken for father and eventually says he willing to take care of MC’s child even tho it’s not his begrudgingly.
Later, there’s a controversy saying CHAEBOL HEIR HAVING KID OUT OF WEDLOCK???!! Family finds out. MC’s asshole dad shows up and starts screaming at MC saying he’s gross for becoming an omega for ML or something like that (memory fuzzy). Anyway, ML drives him out eventually cuz he walks into it and don’t like it. Also, MC father tried to keep them apart becuz alpha-beta relationship is gross for some reason.
I don’t remember when, but MC tells ML is father eventually, and stuff happens, MC meets freaky grampa and mom and stuff.
And then car crash, side plot with ML’s cousin trying to get the company, but his attempt of murdering ML puts him in jail.
Side story,
They have baby and ML falls in love with baby, Surim and protect his spot as number 2 in Surim eyes by not letting his fam meet the baby. They only get pics. >:(

What was the rationale of the ML why he did not let the MC go but also not sleep with him when he was a beta?
ML likes MC, even when they were kids. But, the whole alpha-beta dynamic disgusted him because of his dad forcing him to watch him fucking a beta as a kid made him scared of turning into father 2.0. I’d be traumatized as well if I was tied to a chair and forced to watch a drug addict do unspeakable things.
ML wished that MC was an omega a lot of times. I think he’s sexually attracted to beta MC even before he became an omega coz bro literally got a hard-on when MC confessed to him, and he masturbates thinking of MC(? This part I think I forgot, memory is a bit fuzzy).. bro has a whole tangent about how he hasn’t slept with another omega since dating MC (cuz he did sleep around BEFORE the relationship) and if MC needs to get off, MC can sleep with an omega that ML approves of, but not an alpha.
I feel like since the MC is the main character, we take his point of view whereas ML’s perspective of the relationship was probably way different. If they did talk, I think the relationship wouldn’t be so, “omg, ML is only with me cuz we preserving our friendship”.
There are some things that are fuzzy tho in my mind about the novel tho. I read it over a month ago, so I was surprised to see that there was a webtoon.

Also, ML made TIME to see MC no matter what throughout their entire seven year relationship despite him being busy with his chaebol stuff. He makes time to get back home to see MC, spend time with MC, learn how to cook new foods for MC, eat with MC, sleep with MC (literally, not sexually) everyday, and he created a whole hospital for MC to work at to have job stability. And when he found out about the dudes who broke his ankle, he wanted to kill all of them and go to prison even though they were broken up, but even then he’d stay out of jail because $$$, but didn’t cuz he found out he was having a kid.
When MC was in military, he’d also try his best to see MC when he was on break from military too. Bro was putting in effort for time with MC. Sure, their relationship seems a bit strained, but I think ML was just showing his love more platonically than sexually.

Not completely sure about his feelings, but I think he did love MC. As a kid, he liked him and missed him(?) memory’s kind of fuzzy, but basically, MC disappeared or something and ML was upset by it. So when MC came back he was happy.
ML does like MC sexually even though they don’t have sex. It’s more of sexual trauma that’s holding ML back. (This isn’t something that happened overtime, bro liked MC in that way when MC first confessed his feelings)
