Last chapter I read is 21st (22 is still not up) and lol what am I reading.
I love love love the dude from college (the one that went viral when being slapped) and I just wish for him to find happiness in the end. He's so wholesome.
Rosa is just downright insane. I mean, my mom can bring home the hottest dude that's around my age and I wouldn't touch him not even in my imagination. Just the thought that he had touched my mom with his very hands and other parts is disgusting beyond imagination. Not to mention that Rosa has that hottie at school and she's still lusting over mum's bf.
She's also so far a very flat character - a rich princess who has no problems and is soooo bored of life to the point that mum's bf becomes her main entertainemnt.
Mum being with someone so much younger is weird, but Yeonwu is an adult so whatever floats their boat. I guess. I don't wanna judge her, but I guess I am judging her lowkey. If it was me, I'd never bring the dude into my home, where my daughter lives. It just wouldn't sit right with me, let alone insist that they get along and play family. Weird ass shit.
Can't wait to get Yeonwu's POV and to learn more. I feel like we're still in the first third of the whole storyline and I will keep on reading because I'm curious, but the main characters are so freaking unlikable it's not even fun. It takes a serious skill to create such unlikable characters lol. （/TДT)/
With all that being said, I really dislike how many of the manhwa's portray females. It's either damsel in distress or some weird ass lunatic behavior like here. No true femdom / power women / independent confident women, just some mixture of spoiled, insane, complex fueled behavior that has no roots in reality or logic whatsoever. It really feels like it's written by a 15yo on wattpad in 2013 or by a man who has no idea how women really think. :(
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against crazy female characters, I just wish they were written in a more belivable way.
