Idk the context as i came to comments section before i decide to read or not to read, but what is wrong with not being a virgin?
I did read the story and I still don’t know what’s wrong with not being a virgin. They were separated for at least a decade if not longer.

Based on the context (as you read the story), is just kinda sad how she ain't a virgin when her partner (forgot his name) was heartbroken over her death for years and she was just Oops undercover

I think her survival is more important than her partner’s emotions on whether or not she’s a virgin. Just gonna throw that out there. That she was 100% in a life and death situation every single second of every single day and didn’t know if Alex was alive. Even men in the army will have gay sex even as straight men because sex is an incredible way to bring your overall stress level down. It’s why sex addiction is a thing. Also, no one is responsible for the emotions of another. She is not responsible for his soothing his heartbreak. He could have moved on at any point in time but CHOSE not to. You also grossly overestimate the ability for ANY woman to say no back then. It’s horrendous now where women can and do get murdered for saying no but back then, every woman or girl was SA if a man truly wanted her and then either caged up or murdered. Wives were all SA because they had no means of escape. The only women to avoid this was nobility and that’s only because the FATHER would view his own daughter as damaged goods who couldn’t be sold at market value so he would force the man who had sex with her (either consensually or SA) to marry her at market value or there would be a dispute between the two men. Which could lead to spousal SA once again.
While you’re complaining about how sad it must be for Alex, I’m genuinely concerned for all that she had to do in order to stay alive in enemy territory as a working WOC. Especially as a maid. It’s lucky she wasn’t forcibly impregnated.

I don’t think he’s sad about it. He’s just grateful she’s alive when he thought she was dead. And he’s definitely more submissive so he probably doesn’t even care as long as she’s doing the leading.
