They aren't deleted you'll get them back.
don't worry, ppl whose acc were made in 2014 and 2015, as in earlier years, slowly got their reads back.
Currently 2020 users are getting theirs back and it has started for 2021 users. Here's proof of accs who've gotten their lists back :

so yeahh it'll take quite some time but you'll get them back.

I was so shocked to see that my majority of my reading list disappeared I thought someone did something to my account but I saw other users also experiencing this issue so I guess it's not someone trying to erase my reading list. I hope they'll fix this ASAP
