That was almost rape, if not rape per se. You can do the same story without that scene. It doesn't add anything (at leats, nothing good).

Also, before sleeping/starting something with your childhood friend-turned rival, maybe talk? about everything that happened? and even more, if that person became your lover. Idk, maybe it's just me.
