Man, Jack was done so dirty in this one. Justice for jack! Also about Benjamin/Lemon... Yeah after 300 chapters, i have all the reason to say that Rose did the right thing (chooses Pierre). Lemon may have love and protect her to pieces and for eternity, but ultimately she is not safe with him. Not saying she's a damsel but, let's get real they were both abusive of each other. Relationship is not always happy times but it does implies mutual support. What we saw so far are 1) mutual love that faded with time 2) being together for eons but there is no support or respect in either of the two 3) a constant hurting of each other to get what they need or a constant going back together to get what they want which is never "I want her/him to be happy". Ngl I think Lemon greatest WTF (when he turns her immortal) perfectly reflects, how he handle their relationship. He loves her so much to kill people and his family, reject power but also he basically say "screw your feelings and opinion". He gives her want she wants only if it doesn't hinder his benefits. Yet also gives her what she wants even knowing it will harm her physically and emotionally.
It's a very selfish love and its no surprise that despite the love, protection and financial support, in the long run she left him. Rose realizing that despite the love and protection he gives her, he does not give a fuck of hurting her.
I'm not a huge fan of Rose because she's a good and great protagonist btw. I like her character because she is flawed. Anyway I can't help but "bruh", worst mom. She really thought "kids are tiring and they scare me", throw her 6-7 year old kids to a quarry and left. AND SHE NEVER CONSIDERED OR GIVE THEM A THOUGHT after.
