Basically MC realizes that he’s reincarnated into a novel when he first Guide the ML when they’re younger (12 and 13) At that point he’s already changing the novel plot because he’s moving to a different route. This makes the whole characters in the story change their behavior and personality. So, although ML is a crazy obsession. He actually very kind and protective towards MC. He often work behind the scenes to help MC. ML actually had a very sad upbringing as a child. Throughout the novel MC is actually a kind and meek person. But he’s also very dumb sometimes…it’s irritated to read. But his character development started when he’s abducted by the ML for trying to runaway. (Abducted…more like keeping him from the negative press and serving him food) MC falls in love with ML and finally use his brain lol. Anyway he stay with ML when he’s in a Rut. And that’s probably the reason why he’s changing from Beta to Omega. MC is actually happy about the change. Because he thought being a Beta is the obstacle for them to get a happy ending. So overall, you need to endure MC’s misunderstanding POV for awhile to actually getting the plot.

Yes. It’s an Omegaverse. They’re mentioning pheromones shower and Rut…but it’s not as hardcore as the normal Omegaverse.

I have to read up to chapter 100+ in the novel to finally enjoy it. I’d say it started off boring but I can’t stop reading and by the near end of the novel when the plot thickened. It’s actually very enjoyable to read. Give it a try.
