ok I'll be honest, i cried at the part where his family already accepted him and the fact that this is a real story hits more BUT i hoped the author learned that just because he had it harder, he couldn't just burst out to people that they have it better because they're straight when everyone is struggling (although LGBT is indeed still being discriminated against especially during their time period) but the way it was done was... well, maybe plus point bcs it's so human(?) ik it's not idealistic but i Hoped now in the future they can better regulate emotions during social occasions. It just irked me for some reason. I'm part of LGBT too but invalidating others is so not it for me. Im glad the girls were understanding.
