No I totally agree, I wish it had more impact in the main two’s relationship specifically for dan, here is just feels like a way for jaekyung to realise once again how much of a prick he was. Suddenly it’s not even about dan’s trauma and his suffering, it’s used for someone else’s character growth…sigh :(
I’m sure everyone knew that season 1 was about Dan’s trauma and season 2 is Jaekyung’s redemption. We almost never knew what was going on in Jaekyung’s head last season. It’s a pretty typical setup.
I don't mean to sound apathetic or anything but this is so random and jarring with the rest of the story. The SA trope is really distasteful when done like this bc it feels like plot filler instead of something deeply traumatic and character-building. idk.. this rubs me the wrong way
