Are we all fr rn? "the MC didn't get a happy ending" but she did She was sad at the end but what did y'all want her to get?? This was the best ending the story could have gone for for her. Mugi is NOT the ending that should have taken shape. Nor is it Ecchan because MC did not love her. She learned out of her hopeless love trials and grew from them. She found herself more and could go away from her first love. She is happier than at the beginning or at any point she had that unrequited love in the manga. A story does not need to teach us out right something. This is not a fairytale for children. Take the lesson with what you interpret the end for but don't complain that a manga that is so complex with the feelings of their characters has no "lesson" to be learned at the end. If y'all could see behind the predatory action on mugi you could see a really complex character on the teacher. She is a predator, yes but at least don't just say she's a predator and nothing else. Furthermore she does not prey on Mugi or has any sexual desires for him. She wants to escape herself by taking every love of others she can. Mugi was a victim of hers but she was not a pedophile rather a predator. You throw the word around like it's candy at this point. To the person crashing out in the comments because the Tiktok promised something else and now the story is shit. Did you even read anything? You decided that because the Tiktok showed something else than the story is you rate this based on the tiktok that is not even a representation of the story. You get wierded out of a relationship where both of the people are consenting in the stuff they do. The man loves her unconditionally and wants her to be herself. She cannot accept herself without the love of others. I'm sure if the guy didn't like her statement of cheating on him he wouldn't have married her Furthermore you're angry for mugi going after his unrequired love instead of MC which was a substitute. They both did not love each other but rather wanted someone for comfort. They realised this in the end and decided that they had to find actual love even if the comfort they both had in each other was nice. The story gives us so many angels of emotions and beliefs. You can't just box a character into one box and that's it. Nor can you expect the MC to end with any of them when the whole story was about an unrequired love in someone that loves someone else with all their heart. I would be mad if she had ended up with any of them actually. Nevertheless, the story is quite complex and very confusing at some points. The female teacher said she liked the obsessiveness of another women when she stole a man but when mugi was "stolen" there was no trace of that. Or the feelings of the unrequired love. I would have found it nice to see his thoughts but we never saw them which is a bit sad since he had players such a big part in the story.
