My assumption is that it's because only 4 chapters are released a year in Japan. The magazine it's published in gets released quarterly.
There are like 6 more chapters not translated after the one that was posted most recently on this site
I think this is also due to the fact that the original scan team has either disbanded or ceased translating the series. I remember someone from the scan team saying something about it several chapters ago, and that they were the only ones working on the chapters in English. I think they stopped translating chapters since that update, so now it's just up to whoever wants to translate the chapters for us.
No the original scan team is still translating it they just dont allow reposts outside their server

There is another scan group called teddyscans, but their releases are private. The newest release on this site wasn't by them, but by someone who took spanish scans and translated them

I still don’t understand why JJR has not yet been completed? I know the nostalgic feeling because JJR was my first BL series I ever watched since they first released as anime (then I move to manga). More than 10 years, I was hoping they could give clarity for Misaki and Usagi because the other couple already solved their own problem (in my opinion). Yet Misaki has to deal with Usagi Family. I was shocked when Misaki’s brother saw them kissing and stuff, I thought the happy ending was near. Guess I was wrong.
I just hope the author have a good health and happiness, and give a decent ending for Misaki and Usagi. Don’t pull this too long.. I love Misaki and Usagi, I really do love JJR, they’re still my hardcore favorites.. but when will I ever get to see them happy again? A happy ending or the ending they deserve..
