the way the author wrote taira was beautiful. his character was done so well and ive never seen a manga author understand a character with self loathing anxious inferior (idk a general word to describe him thats the best i could think of) personality so well. i used to be like him in some ways and the thoughts and actions that the author wrote for him generally fits really well with the mental health he deals with. his issues and problems felt real like he was a real person. the one thing i really wanted to see w taira was how he would overcome his inferiority but that would probably take him a longgg time, way too long for a manga, to get over as its very deeply rooted. i do appreciate how they didnt rush azuma and his relationship bec he obviously needs to be in a better mental state for them date and its realistic for them to take it slow. also love azuma for how shes able to see the him the way he cant. theyre so fuckin cute i love them both so much i started cryung whe they started crying omg
