Nah he lit that cigarette so he would get kicked out of school for not following the rules ig
obv so he'd have no choice but to really be separated from byul. despite dropping out, he would still be able to ransfer to a different school. getting expelled will destroy those chances, and he can then move on from byul, albeit forcefully
