Dohu was writing a BL. First he used juheon as a reference but later Dohu actually fell in love. One day Dohu was drunk, juheon took his home. When juheon was leaving he saw Dohu's laptop open. He was closing it then he saw that folder where Dohu wrote stuff about using juheon as reference. Juheon thought that Dohu actually didn't love him, he was using him. Dohu didn't stop Juheon because Juheon never told him that he was leaving for good. You can't stop someone if you don't even know what they are planning. As much fault Dohu has, Juheon isn't helping it by not sharing what happened to him with Dohu.

It's a misnomer that Juheon hates Dohu. Juheon is still very much in love with Dohu, but he has so many unresolved issues that prevents him from accepting and trusting Dohu.

First, Juheon has deep traumatic trust issues from being abandoned by his parents, and later being used by his extended family for their own gain. While he hates people using him, he hates himself more from being unable to break away from this type of people. He ended up with a lot of self hatred and believes no one truly loves him.

Here came Dohu who despite knowing his true colors came to love him unconditionally, or so he was led to believe. While Dohu did genuinely fall for Juheon, Dohu originally approached Juheon because he wanted to use Juheon to write his novel. Once Juheon found the truth, he began to believe that Dohu has never loved him. That's how it has always been for him.

What makes this worse is, even if he now knows that Dohu's love for him is genuine and that Dohu never has bad intention, Juheon cannot accept Dohu again because that would mean he is going back to his old habit of unable to break free from being used and yearning in futile. He hates how he will always have doubts and may end up channelling that hatred and insecurity to Dohu. The last thing Juheon wants is hurting Dohu, so he believes being apart is the best for both of them.

They also keep implying that Juheon’s relatives will use his relationship with Dohu against him if they learn of it, so he can’t get too close

I also believe that Juheon is trying to protect Dohu from his family. I think it was implied on some of the latest chapters, that that's the real reason he left Dohu, cause even though he was hurt, he did go back to him in the scene where was hugging Dohu on the floor (right before the time skip), but I think his family was blackmailing him and the fact that Dohu didn't apologize or explained himself (even though he was having a difficult time processing his emotions) made his decision resolute. And thus he left to start his meticulous plan of putting an end
to all his his ties to the family. That was confirmed to me in the last time he went to talk with that person his paying that I don't remember if it's a PI or an attorney.

Also, I agree wholeheartedly with your interpretation, but I want to clarify, that when Dohu "used" Juheon as his source material or "muse", (as an artist myself) I don't think it came from a bad place or with malicious intentions. Dohu just thinks differently than other people, so you can say he was "studying' Juheon. The fault lies in Dohu having the chance at some point to come clean about the fact that even though they fell in love, everything started because of a misunderstanding (Juheon thinking that the reason he was approached was because Dohu had fallen for him and him not rectifying it) and then him opting out of telling the truth cause he deemed it unnecessary or thought that he would hurt him if he did tell him the real reason.

I didn't mention about the family because we still haven't given the full scope of it and merely hints and implication. I just wanted to talk about the materials that have been confirmed in the story, especially in regard to Juheon's current mindset.

Of course, Dohu has no malicious intent. While he never told the truth to Juheon, it was Juheon who misunderstood Dohu's intent to begin with. Dohu never once meant to lead Juheon on. In fact, he was confused by Juheon misinterpreting his intention. To be fair, you can't blame Juheon because Dohu's actions and words can be easily misunderstood, and that is ultimately his biggest downfall. He is terrible at comprehending certain things and especially slow at understanding his own feelings or how others perceived his actions.

Perhaps a less talked thing here is Dohu being an unrealiable narrator. The majority of the story is told from Dohu's point of view, but Dohu himself is piss poor at understanding himself. Even now, he still has yet to correlate his well being is being directly affected by Juheon's presence or absence. This is probably why some readers who doesn't read in between the lines (no pun intended) misunderstood Dohu and sometimes assign malice to him when there isn't.

Finally, I'm also an artist and a writer, so I get where Dohu comes from in regard to inspiration. I know a lot of people who are honored when I told them I used them as inspiration. I personally believe Dohu was already attracted to Juheon very early on, at least as early as their first movie date where his heart was thumping and he didn't know why. However, Dohu being slow as heck confused his attraction to Juheon to him wanting to use him as a muse.

I think dohu has autism since I’ve seen a lot of people saying that he shows signs of that but has it been confirmed yet in the story? and did he ever get diagnosed with it?

It has never been confirmed, but heavily implied since he was already exhibiting signs of them since a very young age. Dohu himself has accepted that he is slow at understanding human's emotions, to the point that he never argues otherwise when others said demeaning things about him. Dohu even believes that it doesn't effect him, even though it does. While his mind couldn't comprehend it, it always affects him physically such as appetite, insomnia, or sudden desire to smoke. While Juheon ended up closing himself off as a way to cope his trauma, Dohu ended up at the other extreme end of the spectrum, total apathy, disregarding everything, even his own feelings.

Yess!! I believe in the whole attraction thing! And I honestly have a soft sport for both, I understand where the misunderstandings come from and don't get why people can't analiza the work further and hate one or the other. They're both at fault, but I like the way the author represents each trauma.
