Ig it's cuz his facial features look prominently korean (which he is) but in alot manhwas the characters don't even look korean , so yeah maybe that's why ;)
Bc he's from korea and he is usually edited to the song miss korea (I don't actually know what the songs called so mb if it's wrong)
