its honestly sad to see how a masterpiece like this with such intentional writing being criticise by stupid ppl. saying she rushed the character development or dragging the story or choosing the toxic one or whatever just doesn't make sense when its been clear from the start she wrote it as a noir tragedy with complexity and angst, it isnt rainbow and sunshine or a straight line romance. these kind of bl stans lacks media literacy and its showing. just dropped the story instead of whining about the writing and the fandom, its so easy to understand when you dont pick a side and enjoy the story

I've been saying if they want a fluffy romance bl, wet sand isnt for them. they dont have the mental capacity to understand the depth of the story and each characters. theyre saying the recent chapters doesn't make sense. but it does, cause all throughout season 1, we were given tj's pov on how he's been doubting himself and his goals. doyak literally showed us tj questioning his choices and even when tj left ian, ian himself, even when he's starting to care for jo, at the back of his mind, he's thinking of tj. while ians playing house with jo, he was also hiring someone to look for tj . doyak literally revealed it on tjian reunion, ian said he was miserable when tj left him and now i see people doing mental acrobats how TJ's action make no sense when it was there all along

righttttt everytime i see those ppl talked about how tj never actually love ian and he was obsessed with owning him instead of being with him fell for his own lies. in s2, the flashbacks were from tj pov and whole time he was lying to himself until it finally breaks in chapter 93. they think the panels where jason was manipulating tj since the beginning was just decoration like no jason was the one who dictated tj's decisions for nearly 2 decades and tj sense of loyalty towards jason as his mentor and teacher was making him more amd more confused. there's a reason why doyak killed jason, it isnt just on the surface level reasons, its to show that tj finally can maoe his own decisions without any outside influence cuz now hes the first in command of his gang. it isnt rushed at all they read the story wrong and make it everybody's problem. in their mind its all black and white, toxic vs healthy, good vs evil like go read some sloppy bl instead of this masterpiece.
