bruh when i only a bl newbie i asked my friend who was well versed in the genre and she recced KS i couldn't get past like 5 chps but somehow still stuck to bl (others i knew who read KS as one of their first "bls" developed an aversion towards the genre )

Ks is like a rite of passage i think (like how junjou roman is too for bl) for current mainstream bls. You either survive, build a tolerance and reach higher maturity to similar themes, or not survive but also reach a higher maturity for not tolerating such themes. Which is why i think new bl fans should go first with KS to see if they can handle the freak in here HAHAHAHAHA
