I don't think it's government propaganda so much as a fantasy for those of us who work in and are thoroughly sick of corruption in bureaucracy. As this is a Korean comic, and Korea has an absolutely sickening level of wealthy people getting away with literal murder all the time (fucking chaebol families...), I think it's more about having the authority to deal with them than pro-government, especially since Korea's federal government is also wack. (For a wild time, look up the history of our presidency......) A long time ago, we also used to have a position called the amhaeng eosa that was a secret government inspector who patrolled the country undercover specifically to root out corrupt government officials, so we have a history of this sort of thing.

This feels a lot like propaganda for the government. And I am not sure if I am ok with that…
I’d love for him to get into a situation where it’s not just black and white. Give me a small business owner who made an honest mistake while filing taxes and therefore owes money, but whose business will fail if they have to pay up now. And see how MC handles that. People who do his job need more humanity than he has because most of their work is not these flashy cases is which everyone is an asshole — some are, don’t get me wrong.
