I do fear it’s bc yuhua still considers him as her biological father and still want to earn his approval bc that’s been her entire life and goal, to be recognized as a proper shen since she’s been compared and tossed aside by all of her family, that she’s so desperate to be loved and I hate it too but it’s just conditioning from how she’s always lived with the shens but with the end of S2 with the betrayal of her father I’m just hoping she freaking open her eyes and hearts that her family doesn’t belong with the shens and rather with chu tian and swallowtail (I’m praying she gets revenge on her father he pmo so bad)
But chu tian is more of a family to her than the entire Shens. Can’t believe she basically chose them over him after everything. Maybe I just have terrible media literacy?
