The mc's behavior towards the Charlotte baffles me... she destroyed her life... on purpose... using brainwashing which you need to have no hesitation for it to work... and yet... she keeps worrying and trying to find excuses for her behavior? At first I was considering that mc was brainwashed too... and there were lingering effects even after she awakened a waay stronger magic... but she keeping that mindset even after what happened to Vik and Lui and she went to the past... Sorry, it makes no sense. No matter how saintly author tries to make mc be... not hating her to the bone after all she did is unrealistic and unbelievable.
