I see she thought of a plan. But like she's shown us so far that she's weak and mostly useless, and she's not very smart. I guess that's the type of mc though - average, ordinary, no special talents including use of her brain.

Faced reality in ch 37. Hoping she can finally rely on someone for once. Might just lose my patience if she doesn't tell the truth soon.

Like first, the landslide being prevented does suddenly stop the brother from being a hostage. 2nd, he has to see the evil princess just to stop his body from rotting. 3rd, she gravely underestimates his grief and rage.
