Actually I felt like what she did aligned well with her character and what she experienced in the past... there was this flashback of her being shamed and shunned even after working her ass off... so when she said that to Lawrence that she knew what he feels, it seems she could relate to it... which is not out of character for her... if she really were such a idgaf character then she wouldn't have asked bertio for dance at all at the ball...
Also, if she didn't care about Lawrence being expelled, she'd seem more like a Mary sue kinda character...
It's like... she chose to battle him despite knowing the worst possible outcome... and hence accepted whatever the outcome was... maybe this is also why she didn't understand why the saintess was so angry...

Oh I'm annoyed with the fl's personality now.. she fr forgave Lawrence??? Wtf??? Girl, u could've been heavily injured, or worse DEAD. I almost love the fl's idgf personality, but I misunderstood. It's a doormat personality. If she truly did not give an f, she wouldn't have cared if he got expelled. Man, I rlly thought I found THE manhwa.
