I honestly don't think she's actually pregnant. Most likely she said that so the mc could hear or something.
But in a universe where the mc is pregnant she would (in my opinion)
1. make her lose the baby
2. adopt a baby when she was supposed to be due
Anyways, if she really is pregnant then she'll definitely do what you said
If the friend is a copycat, then will she abort her baby after finding out and see isn't pregnant
