I find it so interesting the way Authors decide how to go on about labor. I’m glad we saw it! But it makes me wonder.. I know some authors go for the c-section route… Kiss me if you Can is an example. But like I wonder how they would go on about if it were set in a different era? Hmmm. Eh, I’m just putting a lot of thought into it haha

    You'd be surprised how early in time Caesarian labor became a thing in medical history. Even before Christ. People were already being cut up way way back then so it isn't really a surprise when it applies to pregnant women, unfortunately. Before, C-sections weren't even used to save the mother. Thus only performing it when the mother has died through child birth and cutting her up open to save the child. The first record of a successful Caesarian with the mother alive was back in the 1500s.
