i was confused too at first but 'genderless' is just a fashion subculture in japan i think, not nb or x-gender or anything similar? i honestly thought even from the translated name 'androgynous' that there would be a bit more there & it is kinda about gender expression sort of, but you are right that this is just a het couple where the cis ml is an attractive somewhat androgynous model lmao. on its own terms it's decent (even if the characters are a bit flat) but it's basically like any other comfy domestic type series & it never really went anywhere with the gender noncomformist theme

this is far from the first manga/manhwa that features a straight romance w the ML simply being non-conforming rather than truly queer. i understand why youre disappointed but this, and the many other stories before it, arent trying to be woke.
