I really like the narrative choice to reveal the circumstances of her transmigration much later. It keeps us in the dark about important information, so that we’re putting the pieces of the puzzle together at the same time as Selonia. A lot of things that I thought were typical tropes were actually foreshadowing.
I’ve seen the ‘soul in the wrong world’ and ‘body swap’ plots before, but it always felt random, like the author wanted to add something cool to the story even though it wasn’t set up. I feel like this story executes it really well. It feels like it was planned to be this way rather than something that was just thrown in.
