I usually read a title this long within 2 days, but I got annoyed by the pacing and got lazy to read it lol.
At first, the story was okay since I thought the whole story about the past would be explained later in the story, like who are those guys in each era, how did they meet, why did their story seem a bit sad, so I was waiting. But turned out, none of that explained. So I was like 'huh?' because I thought that's supposed to be one of the key points of this story, no?
I was curious about what actually happened in each era to make Baekha and Jaein got that depressed, like, I get the idea, but why did Baekha make a choice to leave Jaein before knowing they are just the God's dolls? Just how bad was the past to make him thing being with Jaein will make Jaein die? What did past life Baekha do to past life Jaein? I'd like to get the emotion but it feels so....... vague? Half assed?? So I can't bring myself to feel sad or anything. I feel the saddest part is when Yoontae told Jaein about Baekha's past and how it brought him to his worst condition.
Also, about how Yoontae and the cousin saying this and that but crossing the line? I get they are worried about Baekha since both of them have been witnessing Baekha's worst moments, but that doesn't mean they can say whatever they want to Jaein without asking what Baekha's thinking..... I get why Jaein was really annoyed at them.
I feel like this story can be delivered in a better way. I love the story but sadly not the story telling.
