Help, I was reading this manga (black and white) back in december on bato where it was weekly updated and I cannot remember the name.
Detective investigates mysterious disappearances in a small, isolated village, bringing his brother along. The villagers are clearly suspicious.
He meets a young man revered by everyone, and later discovers another young man locked away. They are brothers, one brother is forced to place deadly curses, and the only way to “purify” them involves ritual sex with the other brother, and the villagers orchestrated by a female village head.
The detective and his brother manage to get them out, but the curse-using brother falls into a coma.
Volume 2: The comatose brother disappears, and the story follows the other brother adjusting to life outside the sect and starting a relationship with the detective, while investigating the disappearance, leading them to another strange village with mermaid-related folklore.
