I was in the same boat as you. It’s been 5 years since I last read it and stopped reading around 24 chapters. I would def give it another shot and try to finish it if u hadn’t before.

I was definitely was way too young to read this at the age I did. But let me tell you changed my life not sure if for better or worse yet! I’m kinda scared to reread it as an adult I remember her being a huge asshole
