Why her tombstone had no name?

Hmmm I think it's because she was supposed to be buried next to her real husband, but they didn't want that and they didn't want their affair to be aired out in public if she and Rick were laid to rest side by side

Mmm, I thought about it too, but it makes no sense either way. Like their son himself mentioned that they are visiting his "parents' " tombstones...so it means he knew his mom was buried there...idk it really makes no sense

Nelly likely has two graves, one with her husband which would be empty for pretense and the real nameless one which Rick showed their son.. Ben, their son, may have known the decoy one but Rick wanted to show him the real one too which he did but without disclosing the truth.. so in a way Rick did show Ben his parents' graves without saying it is so but it wasn't the one Ben knew which is why he sounds confused..
